Walker Professional Goal I strive to meet new goals in my
career and work through new challenges. I enjoy working with and
capturing data to discover and present trends for analysis. I aim to apply
professionally the technical and interpersonal skills I have acquired for
quality and efficiency in all tasks and business operations.
Experience §
At Ericsson as an Engineering Support Specialist, I use Microsoft
Excel daily to document and analyze both work in progress and archived
records. I play an essential role in the maintenance and analysis of quality
and performance data to create useful metrics. I also track information about
the engineering deliverables for our group. I have helped to write,
revise, and upload process documents to Eridoc. I regularly browse
Ericoll for the engineering documents necessary for the RCA of rework. §
I work with the scheduler as administrative support to initiate work
within our group. This includes initial work and rework. I document, monitor,
and analyze data from a variety of sources to obtain information necessary
for the facilitation of work within our group. These sources include
organizational emails in Microsoft Outlook, Shift Interrupts in the
Deployment Excellence Tool, and trackers within Excel Workbooks. I
also train our group on new and existing tools such as Continuus and
Microsoft Excel. §
I have written VBA scripts to automate these and other tasks. For
example, I have written scripts that automate the creation of service
requests directly from our WIP records for initial work and rework. This
automation has saved a significant amount of time and resources. I am also
working on a more robust tool that automates quotes for Site Engineering. §
I also play a role as a quality analyst. I report on the metrics data
that I collect and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. I
create pivot tables and pivot charts to highlight performance trends within
the data. I also help in a minor capacity with financials by ensuring the
budgets for each project and helping to track and calculate the cost of
rework. I ensure that the networks are valid for our group within Agency
Handler. I document and report on this financial data. Education University of
